Spring is Finally Here

Nothing new to post today, because spring is here and a few things are finally blooming. I have been doing a little weeding of the flower beds, some raking of leaves and some planting of vegetables in the raised beds. Mostly I just stood around looking at flowers and birds. Happy spring.

Scilla – Chionodoxa – Glory of the snow, blooms in April, and often appears in lawns in my neighbourhood

Scilla looks nice en masse – here the snow has just melted, so this is what has appeared from underneath
I was happily surprised to see this blue cranesbill blooming under some leaves
Yellow Forsythia is my first shrub to bloom
