I’m not sure why we have National and International Days, but Seed Swapping Day is just what we need during a snowy winter and a pandemic lockdown. The first Seed Swapping Day was held January 26th, 2006 in Washington D.C. and is now held the last Saturday in January of each year. It would be great to have a seed swapping party, but not this time around!

Seed swapping though, gives us hope and something to dream about for spring. I’m not seed swapping today, but looking at my seed starting projects and gazing at my seed catalogues.

Happy Seed Starting Day this Saturday!
